WHO I am and WHAT I do
The beginning starts in New York Mills, MN where I was born and raised. After an affinity for drawing, comics and art - I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with a B.A. in Art and Communications. After a few stints in Minneapolis, Connecticut and Wisconsin I found myself back in the F-M area. I am currently an illustrator and graphic artist for Forum Communications. I also served as an adjunct art professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead from 2016-2020. I have exhibited at many locales from the Regional Cultural Center in New York Mills, Minn. to the Plains Art Museum in Fargo. The art continues in my home studio where I enjoy creating screen prints, comics and graphic novels (under the Light Studio label). I live near downtown Fargo with my lovely wife and three busy children.
